Job description
NICVDC is looking for a skilled and motivated BIM Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for BIM modeling, drawing production, coordination, clash detection, and supporting project teams across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate 3D BIM models based on project drawings, standards, and client requirements.
Prepare Shop Drawings, Construction Drawings, and As-Built Drawings.
Work on Architectural, Structural, and/or MEP BIM models.
Perform model coordination and identify clashes using Navisworks Manage.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal project teams.
Create and manage Revit families, schedules, sheets, views, and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update accurate BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Prepare Architectural, Structural and MEP drawings as per project requirements.
- Develop Shop Drawings, Coordination Drawings and As-Built Drawings.
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Resolve model coordination issues and incorporate project comments/revisions.
- Prepare sheets, schedules, families and project documentation in Revit.
- Maintain model quality and follow BIM standards, templates and naming conventions.
- Support multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings and project submissions.
- Ensure assigned models and drawings are delivered accurately and within project timelines.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD & Navisworks Manage
- Experience in BIM Modeling and Coordination
- Ability to work on LOD 300–400 models
- Knowledge of Clash Detection and Clash Resolution
- Ability to prepare Shop Drawings, Coordination Drawings & As-Built Drawings
- Understanding of Revit Families, Schedules, Sheets and Worksets
- Ability to read Architectural, Structural and MEP drawings
- Basic knowledge of ACC / BIM 360
- Good understanding of BIM standards and QA/QC process
